Joel David Moore is an American actor who has appeared in numerous television commercials, feature films, and television series.

Moore was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. He went to college for the performing arts in Ashland, Oregon where he earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and performed for two summers at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. In 2000, Moore moved to Los Angeles and reunited with his agent from Portland, Rachelle Ryan, who is now a manager in Los Angeles. Joel Moore will play Cooter in The Dukes of Hazzard:The Beginning which was played by David Koechner.

Moore's next big project is James Cameron's AVATAR, playing a lead, opposite Sigourney Weaver and Sam Worthington.

Starting his career in commercials, he has been in over 15 nationals (including eBay, Cingular Wireless, and Best Buy). Moore shot an international campaign for a branch of Siemens cell phones, XELIBRI, which won a Lion Award.

Moore's most-recognizable role is in Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story.

Moore has appeared in nearly a dozen television shows, including: LAX, CSI, The Guardian, Strong Medicine, Six Feet Under, Angel, Providence, Boomtown, and Boston Public.
